THE VISION & THE COMMUNITY

More questions. Useful answers.

Who are Wakandians?

Wakandians are people who take part in the One in a Million Unity & Empowerment movement. Review the current campaign for membership terms.

Who can join the movement?

The vision centres Black youth and communities, while people from all backgrounds who support its purpose are welcome to explore appropriate ways to take part.

Why the name Wakanda Forever?

The name grew from a sense of pride, identity and possibility inspired by the film Black Panther and conversations with youth about the future they wanted to build.

What does a share certificate mean?

The broader campaign has described certificates within a shared-ownership vision. Eligibility and rights must be checked against current, official terms; a certificate should not be assumed to confer investment returns or legal rights beyond those documented.

What kinds of youth experiences are planned?

Ideas include sustainable growing, African dance and drumming, storytelling, outdoor learning, mentorship, arts, leadership and team-building. Actual programs will be confirmed as they become available.

Can parents and elders take part?

Yes. The vision is intergenerational. Community members may share knowledge, volunteer, partner, support programs and participate in public gatherings.

Are age requirements and opening dates confirmed?

Not for the future campus as a whole. Participation requirements, program availability and schedules will be confirmed for each activity when announced.
